Worldbosses Mounts

We would like to propose a change to mount usage during world boss encounters to improve PvP balance and overall gameplay experience.


Proposed Change


After a player is hit or engaged in combat, they should be unable to use mounts for at least 5 seconds (or longer, if deemed appropriate).
  • Currently, many players engage in PvP at world bosses by constantly mounting and running away, which removes meaningful combat interaction.
  • This behavior leads to non-stop disengaging, making PvP feel frustrating rather than competitive or fun.
  • Preventing immediate mount usage after taking damage would encourage actual fights instead of endless chasing.

Impact on Farmers

  • This change will not negatively affect farmers, as they already rely on pets rather than mounts during farming activities.
  • The restriction only applies after being hit, meaning normal movement and farming remain unaffected.
PvP Improvement

  • Encourages commitment to fights
  • Reduces hit-and-run abuse
  • Makes world boss PvP more engaging, strategic, and fair
  • Our enemies from RB has already submitted a similar proposal, but it was not taken into consideration at the time.
  • We believe revisiting this idea now would be beneficial for the server’s long-term PvP health.We respectfully ask the staff to consider implementing this mount restriction after combat at world bosses, as it would significantly improve PvP quality without harming other playstyles.

+1 As a Sura weapon player, it is nearly impossible to defeat opponents due to the mount abusing. Players nonstop spam mounting and are able to escape within seconds. This issue creates a significant imbalance, giving ranged characters a clear advantage over close-combat classes. As a result, the gameplay experience becomes highly frustrating especially for close combat characters. They should choose either using only mount or only ground.

+1 , mounts shoulda have cooldown put on MONTHS ago, the option to use them constantly is unfortunately there and many use it (myself, YOURSELF included) - but putting a cooldown would make a pvp scene A LOT healthier.

Currently we rely on stun - which unfortunately isn't simply enough considering how many people turn up to compete and support their guilds.

To add to my previous post, we had circled thru that topic many times already and for some reason it has never been implemented and seems like ignored even - tho people from all 3 biggest guilds that compete between each other agree with the issue that currently exists.

I fully support the idea but have just 1 concern : STUNS

Im very sure that if mounts would recieve the change you posted everything will turn into a stunfest.

If this gets implemented i would like to also see a stun limit / min as fighting a gang is already an uphill battle

+1 to restrict mounts, loaches and white flags usage in PvP for the reasons discussed more deeply in the threads below:

+1 , many of us have melee classes and they are completely useless becouse people spam mounting

can the staff please do some simulation in the test servers to see the pvp experience of a melee class trying to kill mages that spam mounting and only hit the wuba?

the game is full of bugs and mostly for the advantage of melee players.
at least keep the mage class playable if you dont want to fix the invisible stuns

The only unplayable classes are the melee ones, the opvp is almost inexistent for them since they cant touch a mount spam abuser. This is a serious problem that degrades the PvP experience for all melee class players.
