You all want change when it benefits you. The wb change you all lobbied for. This is why this system is inherently flawed and from my opinion with the utmost respect towards devs, it is lazy game design. This whole *suggestion* meta is a façade to mask lazy game design. Rather than looking at statistics and understanding player frustration and behaviour and making changes for the greater community they make changes based on this “get your guild mates to upvote your suggestion” system which is extremely flawed. Not to mention people active on forum are an extreme minority, whereas the large player base is vibing in game. When people make sensible suggestions that benefit the majority of the player base these suggestions are either ignored or laughed off because they didn’t come from Hated or RB. And they will only ever implement suggestions that they believe have little to no impact on gameplay and keep it stale impossible to achieve pure end game. Case in point, % up rates visibility was dismissed even if both RB and Hated came together for once. if game designers were actually interested in making the game better they would make decisions based on data and game design rules (like making previous content exponentially easier to attain with the addition of new content), but instead they hide behind this suggestions system that is inherently flawed and will never work for the greater game and greater benefit of the community.
Wep sura is balanced, if pablo has best items it should be warranted he wins every dojang. But you all want this change to benefit you all of hated because you want your magic based characters to have the upper hand even if pablo has the better items.
Game designers do your job or keep this dysfunctional system going, see where it takes you.

I’m worried this request is partisan and driven by personal interests, but let me assume good faith for a moment and offer an opinion based on what I know about the server.
To me, the balance of power between classes looks the same as on old WoM2 where, after a major update aimed at better class balance (still in place), no one complained that magic classes weren’t strong. What you’re really talking about here seems to be the gap between hit-based classes (Aura Warrior & Weapon Sura) and skill-based classes (the others). A few points:
A) The latest dojang results, as Tasky already analyzed, are balanced - except at level 105, where there’s a player who might simply be more skilled or better geared than the rest (a possibility that doesn’t seem to be considered).
B) Most-played level-105 PvP classes: I see just one Aura Warrior and one Weapon Sura competing seriously in PvP at that lvl range. If these two were truly the strongest characters, why are there only two? Why does no one pick them despite their being excellent in PvM and top in PvP, according whith what you say? Why do most players prefer Mage, Sura, and Archers (I saw many ninja daggers giving up daggers to go archer)? My take: on this server, ranged classes have an extra streght in open-world PvP and people know that and prefer them.
C) Last guild tournament (I don't consider the World Boss PvP stats since the PvP stats system is frankly poor and not meaningful): I rebuilt a top-five by KDR from the individual wars between Hated and RedBasterds (attached; I don’t have them all happy if someone can complete with all wars between the 2 guilds):

RedBasterds

  1. Kennov — average KDR 1,32 - Archer
  2. Thron — 0,92 - BM sura
  3. Lafirynda — 0,56 - Mage
  4. DonPablo — 0,52 - Weapon sura
  5. RedBastard — 0,50 - Ninja dagger
  6. iCrowley — 0,47 - Mental Warrior

Hated

  1. AcabNr1 — average KDR 12,67 - BM sura
  2. Exeragon — 3,28 - Mage
  3. Kreatos — 3,01 - Archer
  4. Impedanz — 2,35 - Mental Warrior
  5. AnoBanano — 1,43 - Ninja Dagger
  6. xBOLTx — 1,39 - Mage

I don't think I need to add anything: for both guilds top3 is all made by ranged classes!

I don’t deny that in the dojang physical classes might have slightly better odds, but at most that would mean: 1) some of the strongest 1v1 players happen to use physical classes, not that physical classes are inherently stronger; 2) perhaps physical classes enjoy a small edge in 1v1, while ranged classes have a big edge in OPvP.

I’m not trying to inflame the debate; I just think it’s useful to start from empirical data instead of personal opinions.
That said, if the GMs want to run both OPvP and 1v1 proper tests across classes to fine-tune balance, I’m all for it, provided any PvP changes come from a thorough, well-designed testing phase, not a single forum request.

You realize that BM in a guild war is never focused?i tough u have enough experience about guild wars blasphemy ,you are calculating the KDR of magical classes in a guild war knowing for example us didn’t even had sura stone on the weapon and some people didn’t have mage stone because they are irrelevant ,they don’t deal much damage you need to kill mental archer and dagger since they deal a lot of damage,i was excepting that u know more about guild wars
I’m just trying to have a constructive discussion based on objective data so that it isn’t skewed by individualistic positions.

I don’t claim my ideas are correct, but even if I calculated the ranking on the basis of kills made (and not KDR), the result would be the same, with ranged classes at the top. This is because on a server where damage is so high, matches are played around “hit & run,” where ranged classes have an intuitive advantage in OPvP.

I won’t comment on the arguments that were made about the Kingfisher Shoes, because those who made them didn’t take into account the existence of shoes like the Quilin or the Glacials, which make skill-based classes much stronger against hit-based classes than the Kingfisher Shoes make hit-based classes against magic classes.

Moreover, I’ve concluded - and I hope you agree - that:
That said, if the GMs want to run both OPvP and 1v1 proper tests across classes to fine-tune balance, I’m all for it, provided any PvP changes come from a thorough, well-designed testing phase, not a single forum request.

So, I’m fine with reviewing the classes, but through specific, in-depth tests conducted under equal conditions, not through the players’ personal impressions, which could be skewed by differences, large or small, in gear, abilities, and alchemy.

The actual problem for me, on the other hand, is:
1. 1v1 side, the desync -I’m on board with that - which allows some classes to freeze others via unintentional knockdowns, making any movement impossible;
2. OPvP side, the horse abuse wich needs a cooldown in pvp.

Cl5 alchemy we all have ,best 1v1 items?u realize against magical class u need hp+ critical i hope 😀🥹😂😂😂also you answer to your quest ,HIT is the biggest problem 😄you can’t miss hits since you do them from 1 km away and u stun anyone DonWc
Mom i told u that im always close to die with dispel and u say that WP is imposible to kill, what u want to kill me everytime and be on 15k hp letf?Enjoy ur life on the beach and do ur job there.Let us play the game and stop crying bcs u are fuc.ked everywhere.

Hi,

This is a great topic for discussion, though it’s not quite a fully developed suggestion. I’m interested to hear more thoughts on PvP, so I’ll be moving this thread to General Discussion and leaving it open for further input. As for an official answer from us: there aren’t any planned changes to races in the near future. However, we do intend to introduce a more intricate and specific system down the line that should help bring better balance to some classes in both PvP and PvM. But I can’t make any promises on this, and it’s not something that will be coming in the immediate future.

Warm wishes,
Essence.
