Upgrade Rates.

I just think what would be beneficial is some kind of system that increases the upp chance based on the amounts of prior fails.
For example, the first 4-5 tries are at regular %, and after that, you get +5% for each try or something. Of course, this would need to be tweaked and I'm just throwing out random numbers here, but it would still allow for good luck to happen, while simultaneously getting rid of such extreme cases like this, that just kill the fun.

Idk since we are playing a HARDCORE SERVER the rates are kinda fine, i mean for sure it takes many failes but 100% scrolls were way to easy to get the items that are expensiv, but also you have artisan stone, if you want a fast easy server i think you are on the wrong sv here then
add. i responeded to decimator about pvp weapons im kinda right they should be easier to made but a system like that would destroy whole metin uppgrade gambling and then you can play smth like Lost Ark.

I would prefer a system like that, that is carefully tweaked, over the 100% scrolls we get from BP.
These scrolls are convenient, but it doesn't really feel rewarding to make an item with them.
I dont think a system like this would ruin the gambling in anyway, especially if the increased chance only applies after a couple fails already. And even then, a slight increase will still cause the chance to be low. It will merely cut off the extreme high end of fails, thats all.

theres no pvp ingame cuz most of the guys got a stick in the ass and complaining all day. 90% of the pvp acc's of hated got their weapons already +9 and even evolved so i dont understand why they are able to do it and the rest have to complain here :D
as i said the upgrade chances should be better on a speed server but here keep it how it is
You are comparing a huge guild that literally plays as a whole for all accounts with every other average joe. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I am not for making the server easier, also with the rng i agree with you 100%.
Take it how you want i said it 300 times i didn't open this thread for me but for the future of PVP of this server, because all i can see is the same guys from the begging of the server and there is not a one new guy who even tried to do pvp,and that should be conserning for the WOM2 Team.
And darwizzy the thing is that after 27 fails ONLY ON +9 the sirius is still +6 so i don't even know how much anyone can spent this thing is not balanced say what u wanna say.
At the end thats my opinion,i wont talk anymore, have a great day all of you.
Snake revealead average cost is 50 claws and 25 scales, but you still talk how bad up rates are just because you are unlucky. Some people will upgrade with 2 claws 2 scales, some with 20 claws 10 scales and some will need 400 claws. That's how rng works, if you are not okay with failing 27 times on +9 talk about ways to reduce rng factor not about changing up rates.

dude if you make this server easier and let other catchup people from hated and col will leave because they can't progress any further and have nothing to do. You can't satisfy players who have 2 hours per day and players who have 8 hours per day.

Hello guys!

In my view, the issue lies not solely in the upgrade chances, but rather in a lack of balance between material value and success rate. Traditionally, there's an equilibrium: higher success rates should come with pricier materials, while lower success rates should feature more accessible materials. Currently, compasses—particularly artisan ones—are pivotal in this balance. Let's take a hypothetical scenario: a 20% chance at upgrading to +9. When utilizing artisan compasses, even if we fail, we only expend materials for the +8 to +9 upgrade and undergo the 20% chance again. Conversely, failing and regressing to +7 means facing a 30% success chance and requiring another set of materials to return to +8. Thus, repeated 20% chances prove more favorable (yang wise) than a single 30% chance followed by another 20% chance.

To sum it up, I believe the game should progress towards prioritizing artisanal stones, particularly the initial ones for items up to level 90. This is why you will see an improvement on this area at the next content update.

I spent 35 heads for a beta armour and it was not +8 even once. there is no keun in the shops, the head is very expensive, the refine manual is very expensive (although I tried all +8 and most +7 with refine). neither the refine manual system is good, neither the keun drops are good, nor the chance to upgrade keun. i made 8 +9 items with keun stones and none of them were for sale. all of them were for use. nobody sells their +9 items, or when they want to sell them, they can't find a buyer who gives the price they want because they realise how hard it is to make these items. is this what you want snake? are you happy that there are no +9 pvp or pvm weapons in the shops? or are you happy that people are afraid to try +8 items for +9 when they have hundreds of clasps and heads? i think not. what should not be on a good server is obvious. but if i say this, you will probably delete my post.

Last time I tried 39 times to +7 and succeeded 7 times. It's not bad luck. I think it means bad team.

If you've already made up your mind that everything about this server and its team is garbage, then I don't know what I can say to change that. Your negativity is evident from your constant complaints across the server, Discord, and forums. You complain about the cost of dungeon heads, but let's be real here—it's hardly a bank breaker to run those dungeons on cooldown and drop the heads for upgrades.

I am a player myself, i achieved almost all this gear you are talking about (ofc no help or dc involved), on more than one account. Refinement not working for you? Fine, don't bother, but don't act like it's the be-all and end-all. Keun drop maybe they became scattered cause there was a lot of players upgrading at this moment cause of the content update and preparations for this. Also I just said I will try to make upgrade materials a little bit more available since the claps and a lot of stuff are overpriced.

The server seems to be gradually becoming more accessible, especially with each new set of items making the older ones easier to upgrade or obtain. The introduction of Artisan's Stone for gear below level 90, and the desire for it to be more readily available, is just one example of this trend. With Nemere on the horizon, it's expected that a new set of items will come. This means in the near future the beta gear will become those type of items that will be more easier to craft or upgrade. It's a cycle that continues.

If you're looking to upgrade, perhaps taking a break and returning when the necessary items are more plentiful could be a strategy. But if you're in it for the challenge of obtaining the best gear available during your playtime, then it's going to take some effort and, of course, luck. However, expecting PvP gear to flood the market like it's a poison sword isn't realistic.

It seems like every time you comment, it's about how difficult something is or how unsatisfactory something else is. But why did you choose to engage with a challenging server in the first place? While you are giving me this kind of feedback there are tens of people that dm me with other things related gameplay and tell me not to touch the upgrade rates in beta since it is some sort of fine, having in mind we do not have the Artisan.

Every time you speak up, I'm tempted to just ignore you. But I still take notes and check how things are going in the market, which honestly takes a lot of time. But talking to you seems pointless.

And let me be clear: if you keep disrespecting the team or the server (this include hiding the meaning via jokes or other methods), I'll take action. This isn't a place for childish behavior. If you have feedback, share it respectfully. Everyone waits for responses, so there's no need for insults or attacks. You deserve respect as a member of this community, but remember, you're not entitled to anything beyond that. We all need to maintain respect for each other and avoid thinking we're above others.

Best of luck,
Snake

1) the problem is not that the items are expensive, rare, difficult to farm. the problem is that even if you have hundreds of these items, the result is usually failure

2) almost all beta players and you know that it is very difficult to make these items +8, +9 is almost impossible. how reasonable is it to wait for nemere for more than a year to fix this nonsense?

3) nobody wants it to be too easy, just that the feedback of the players should be taken seriously. you delayed this for months and finally buffed the keun rate. if you hadn't made any changes, you would probably have lost a lot more players. but your attitude towards the players has never changed. as a result, there are more aggressive players (most of the players are not satisfied with you, they just got tired of the deletion of what was written and no change and stopped writing)

4) do you think it will be like poison sword with the solution you will bring to the lack of pvp items in the shops? this is exactly the problem. thousands of cor draconis are farmed every day and how many cl5 att+avg ruby are there on the server? if you think there will be dozens of them in the shops when you increase the rates, try this: increase it a little. or, as usual, make the players look like crying babies

5) in general I complain more about the bullshit than the difficulty. some players with +9 items might be happy with the upgrade rate. or even turn into the happiest person in the world if you reduce the rate.

6) if we want respect, we should show respect (frankly, I use this style because I see disrespect and I don't prefer it either) I think it's normal for me to get angry when you tell me to post a problem on the forum and then my post on the forum is deleted. the problem is not whether it is accepted or not

Genuinely speechless for this comment for real. you choose to listen to no lifers 20 players farming for one account that say everything is fine because if they can spend idk thousands of euros and farm 20 players for one char and they get it done like that, a normal player could never compete with that so OFC THEY SAY IT'S FINE
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
You're honestly so funny at this point no cap. Just so you know Snake, Sarco's one of the most patient and friendly players on this server. If your attitude and actions triggered him badly enough to lose his cool and composure, you should question yourself not assume he's a professional complainer with nothing better to do than to insult you. People that bother to come write stuff on the forum are, usually, here to support the server and to try to suggest changes for the better but as always, you know best, we're all idiots.
I'm honestly shocked Sarco lasted so long mentally trying to battle the team on the forum and I honestly respect that. As he said at 3) most of us either got tired of trying or got silenced - or, in my case, both ❤️
For your sake I hope you never realise all the mistakes you made ^^

Doing beta eq to +9 is just insanely hard, only solution how to do that is a) ur giga lucky, b) u playing nonstop with other 2-3 players and boosting that one main character. Is that good for 95% player-base who plays solo?
