Rejected The new mining system isn't wanted. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK. IT IS GREAT FOR CASUALS.

It's way too much to even care about. My mining P skills are pretty much useless now just as my pickaxes +3 and +4.

Is this a new school server now? i am pretty sure i signed up for a classic one. i get it that simple stuff gets patched but never like that. Shop finder etc i find really helpful.
Please do the WoM2 Miners a favor and make it great again. the usual minign spots are empty now.
mining was never meant to be some high cost high lvl thing.
Lv30 and there you go. Reading Mining skills to P worked just fine and upgrading the axe took long but was fullfilling and something to brag about.
Now i just feel emberrassed to shot a sparkly pickaxe that can't do shait.

Pls Pls Pls change it back. It really is of no benefit for the community or the server.

Totally agree with you, the system is nice indeed, but too exaggerated. Also, it seems that the staff is ignoring the complaints about the new mining system and it's probably too late now to make any changes, because the players who already evolved their pickaxes at the current prices (100 of each refined ores) wouldn't be happy.

The real problems with this mining system will start to show only when the ores that were collected before this change run out. Right now, everything looks fine because players are still using old stock. But once that’s gone, all the players who don’t mine will suddenly realize they have nowhere to buy even the most basic ores from — not the common ones, not any of them.

That’s when the real complaints will start. People will get frustrated, the economy will stall, and gameplay will suffer hard.

So yeah, everything seems “chill” now — but that’s just because we’re still living off the old system’s leftovers. Once those dry up, the consequences of this change will hit the server hard.

Please consider reverting or reworking the mining system before it’s too late. Waiting until the damage shows will be way worse.

I'm really curious how many people can actually mine high-tier ores, and I'm not even talking about Soul Crystal and the likes, but Heaven's Tear, Pearl. Judging by the all-time ores mined top, I'd say 20, maybe 25 people could mine that, with a maximum of 10 people being able to mine Soul Crystal (if they upgraded the pickaxe and have the level to do so).

The system is overall good, separated mining capabilities, makes level up a requirement for certain ores, adds an upgrade objective, prevents ore overflow within the market...
- but it's highly exaggerated. Best they can do now is to lower the requirements (overall) or tell us exactly how many people can mine the last 2 tiers of ores (the most important ones overall). Which they won't.

Regardless of how some feel about the change, the milk had already spilled and it'd be way too unfair on those that had committed to upgrading their pickaxes already.

New system works, just takes getting used to.
You can make way more yang now digging entry level ores, selling them and buying whatever you need - or even upgraded picks.

*to add to it - perhaps the required level of upgrading pick could be in fact lowered, yes... but readjusting amounts or required ore or even completely going back will not be a good thing imo.

I also have a job, and stuff. I managed to gather the materials for the first upgrade in just 1 week.

It depends a lot on your mining skill. Do yourself a favor and buy some mining guides. It will help you a lot.

I don't know how that is supposed to Olschool or "OffiLike". Not just the amount for refinement is ridiculous but the whole process.
Let a man swing his Pickaxe in peace. Nobody ever would have answered "I would love for the mining to be ruined. It already takes a long time but I want it to take even longer.", when asked what changes for WoM2 would be nice.
Nobody sane likes this change. Nobody. Change it back, WoM2 Team. PLEASE. I just want to swing my Pickaxe in peace.

Just saw some people actually are coping so hard that they believe it is good change. Holy Moly.

Not our fault that there are people who buy anything they see as long as they perceive it as worth it, which it isn't. You lost a few kkk? Your fault. Think before you act and not the other way around. You're coping so hard that u seem to believe mining is great now.
People make a mistakes and they learn from it. At least that's how it should go. How does this System make any sense to you on a "Offilike" "Oldschool" server?
They should start calling it Newschool after all the changes they did over the years.

Hello. I am into it. I do not necessarily agree with it being "newschool". I think it is a cool system that follows the old school style. WoM2 has always been "classic+". I get that it is frustrating now for people that have things built up, but that is always the case when changes are made. I get your point, but I do not agree.
