Rejected The new mining system isn't wanted. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK. IT IS GREAT FOR CASUALS.

It's way too much to even care about. My mining P skills are pretty much useless now just as my pickaxes +3 and +4.

Is this a new school server now? i am pretty sure i signed up for a classic one. i get it that simple stuff gets patched but never like that. Shop finder etc i find really helpful.
Please do the WoM2 Miners a favor and make it great again. the usual minign spots are empty now.
mining was never meant to be some high cost high lvl thing.
Lv30 and there you go. Reading Mining skills to P worked just fine and upgrading the axe took long but was fullfilling and something to brag about.
Now i just feel emberrassed to shot a sparkly pickaxe that can't do shait.

Pls Pls Pls change it back. It really is of no benefit for the community or the server.

He keeps crying out here, but things are already implemented, hard work from the development team is already done.

Enjoy it, or leave it, simple as that.

in fact why is it still not changed back? the system is trash.
im neither gonna play nor invest a cent in this server until that's done. i'll keep an eye on it tho.

Look at this and tell me how great the update was. It already killed off some revenue streams that new players use. Crap stones dont get sold anymore. I heard somebody say once people are out of the ore they are sitting on, people will actually complain. I hope it doesn't take that long. Give us back the previous mining.
I keep catching dust here.

So,are y trying to tell me the y would try to extract silver with a level 4 pickaxe?
that’s too easy man, come back later and try again when yr pick axe is level 6 gne gne gne

I sorted out a few things IRL, have time and wanted to play some WoM2. That kinda failed.
My characters only stand afk. If it gets fixed, I'll play. I doubt it tho. No Idea if feedback gets past the mod team to the devs.

For me, being a new player, I believe it is cool. It is a new system implemented under old school feeling/rules. -1 for me here. I understand that it can be frustrating for you, but it is really interesting for me.

Trust me, no. If you have 10 hours a day to mine, then sure go ahead. But as a new player I wouldnt even bother mining. Ofc you can mine diamond on the first level which u can sell for some money, but thats it. Next level you have ebony, thats not too shabby also. Next level white gold, okay some money and you can start mining at temple, but if a heavens tear spawns you just have to watch it go by. Dont mention you need to upgrade your pickaxe constantly, which can fail multiple times and the upgrade points needed is too much. You will get the 300 ores to upgrade somewhat easily, but the pickaxe points is why everyone complaining. Dont even talk about the soul crystal level.
This being said, will they change it back? Absolutely no chance.

On the other hand, we will not bring the old system back, and that decision is definitive. That said, we’ve actively worked on a few improvements to the mining system, which should make it far more accessible in the near future.
