Hello everyone,
today I would like to suggest restricting shop creation to the player’s own kingdom.
And of course the Shop should follow whenever a Player changes the Kingdom.
Players maintaining shops outside their main kingdom would rely more heavily on Hourglasses. This increased usage would make Hourglasses more valuable and relevant within the economy, creating a healthy sink and increasing overall demand.
While the exact implementation details can be adjusted, I believe that encouraging localized trade within each kingdom would provide long term benefits for both economy and player activity.
I would be interested to hear other players’ opinions and feedback on this idea.
today I would like to suggest restricting shop creation to the player’s own kingdom.
Current Situation
At the moment, players are able to create shops in any kingdom once they reach the required level. This has led to an imbalance in the market distribution, with the Blue Kingdom currently being the most active trading hub compared to Red and Yellow.Proposed Change
Shop creation should be restricted based on kingdom affiliation:- Yellow Kingdom players can only create shops in Yellow Kingdom
- Blue Kingdom players can only create shops in Blue Kingdom
- Red Kingdom players can only create shops in Red Kingdom
And of course the Shop should follow whenever a Player changes the Kingdom.
Benefits
1. More Balanced Kingdom Economies
Instead of one dominant marketplace, all three kingdoms would maintain active and self-sustaining economies. This would help distribute trade more evenly and make each kingdom more relevant.2. Increased Kingdom Activity
Players would naturally spend more time within their own kingdoms, leading to a more active and populated environment in all three regions instead of centralizing everything in one place.3. Increased Hourglass Demand
One concern is that high level players may simply create shop characters in other kingdoms to bypass the restriction. However, even if this happens, it would still create a natural economic impact.Players maintaining shops outside their main kingdom would rely more heavily on Hourglasses. This increased usage would make Hourglasses more valuable and relevant within the economy, creating a healthy sink and increasing overall demand.
Possible Concerns and Adjustments
To prevent abuse through low level shop characters in other kingdoms, additional requirements could be considered, such as:- Minimum Level 30 requirement
- Completion of Orc Tooth Biologist quest
- Progression through the main quest up to a certain point
Conclusion
The main goal of this suggestion is to improve kingdom identity, balance the marketplace distribution, and strengthen the overall in game economy. While the exact implementation details can be adjusted, I believe that encouraging localized trade within each kingdom would provide long term benefits for both economy and player activity.
I would be interested to hear other players’ opinions and feedback on this idea.
