Rejected Mining event with a % chance to get double pickaxe points

Can we have a different mining event where the GMs do not spawn veins in a specific map, but instead, during the event, for 2 hours(more or less), globally, everyone that mines will have a random % chance (idk 50% chance, this is debatable) to get double the points for their pickaxe?

Or each time you successfully mine during the event, you get double the points for your pickaxe. (instead of the random % chance I mentioned above)

Maybe you get +1 point per item instead of just a random chance while mining.
