These are just my thoughts from a QM's perspective. From what I've observed, the player count was close to 10,000 online, but it suddenly dropped to around 5,000. I hope the situation won't get any worse in the future. That being said, I'd like to share a few ideas that could potentially make the game more appealing to new players.

Okey, so let get started.

1. Community Helper
─────────────
⤷ The server could benefit from having 3 or 5 Helpers who can guide new players, help them understand what they should do, and teach them effective ways to earn gold.
⤷ Community Helpers would be required to be online for at least 3 hours per day, 5 days per week. In return, they would receive 12 DC per week. By the end of the month, each Helper would earn a total of 48 DC, which is approximately €5.
⤷ Community Helpers are responsible only for assisting new players and are not required to provide support for experienced players. However, they can receive additional DC rewards for reporting hackers or bugs (of course, when the Game Master is offline).
⤷ Community Helpers have access to the three kingdom chats to ensure that they can respond when someone is asking for help and assist them when needed.
⤷ I’ve met over 30 players who had no idea that the call/sell chat is English-only, and I had to inform them because it is not the Game Master’s responsibility.
⚠︎ Why? Experienced players already understand how to earn gold. Their role would be to study the current guides and help new players understand them. The forum already has a lot of guides, but as a new player, it's not always clear where to start or what to follow first.
The problem with kingdoom language(red, blue, yellow) may also contribute to player loss. For some players, it takes up to a month just to reach 20 language points, which can feel discouraging.
I can also give an example. If 10 players join the Yellow Kingdom, which is currently dead. When players try to buy or sell something with players from another kingdom, without 20 language points they will likely leave because they cannot understand each other (it's just an example from the server).

2. Beginner chest
──────────
⤷ I suggest moving the beginner referral chest and the 3-day items to the Apprentice Chest Level 10. Why? It’s obvious—many players either forget to enter the referral code or forget to open the storage. Another issue is that the chest can only be opened from level 15. How are players supposed to reach level 15 with only +3 items?
On top of that, the market is already flooded with items, making progression harder and the economy oversaturated.
⤷ You can also keep the beginner event, which gives players 30 days of benefits.
⚠︎ Before rejecting this suggestion (and I’m fairly sure it might be rejected), please consider either improving it or coming up with an alternative idea for the early game experience. At the moment, the beginning of the game feels very slow and unengaging — no horse, no damage, and overall a lack of progression.
It’s similar to marketing: there’s no point in posting a reel if the first part is boring, because people will lose interest immediately.

3. We’ve talked about the early game—now let’s complete the suggestion.
⤷ I strongly suggest increasing all starting items from +3 to +4.
⤷ I also strongly recommend creating a new early-game experience to improve player engagement. The Heavenly Mandate (천명 – Cheonmyeong)
⤷ Instead of having a 3/5 Horse Flute, I would prefer having a single one that lasts for 3 days, because it takes more than 20 Horse Medals to reach level 11, which means around 12kk or more. It takes a lot of time, and I can’t just walk on foot because it gets boring.

4. The Heavenly Mandate (천명 – Cheonmyeong)
──────────────────────────────
• Like in the old WoM2, you should rework the starting area where the game places new players and make it more inspired by the Korean dynastic theme. Consider moving the entire starting zone to a different location.
• Letter from the Council - > Instead of 8x Red Potion S, you should give Red Dragon Blessing S
• Letter from the Council - > Need improvments, createa a storyline of the game.

𖤝 Gwisin Chaos
→ You may have noticed that all upgrade items from the desert have become quite useless and not very helpful.
→ Gwisin Chaos is a legend about restless souls that can curse places. The desert is a never-ending land where many souls have been lost.
→ The guardians of the council from all three kingdoms have united and created a new mission for players. They must deliver three types of items from the desert, and at the end they will receive a reward.
Reward: 2% semi-human / +500 HP

5. Transparency from the Staff Team.
──────────────────────
⤷ I was curious—on a server like WoM2, there should be someone responsible for the overall gameplay, story, and updates. Why can we see the entire team, and why don’t we receive feedback from the Quality department on all forum suggestions?
⤷ I suggest listing the entire team on the website. Why? How am I supposed to know that Areya is in charge of the marketing department? There should be more transparency with players so they can clearly see who is responsible for what. Do I really have to contact the whole team or ask other players just to find out who is responsible for a specific area?

6. Additionally, add boosts for guilds and social interaction.
─────────────────────────────────────
⤷ If the Guild has 70 members and level 20, you will have a chance to receive a bonus.
› if the average level of the guild is over 40, you will receive 2% monsters, if the average level is over 55 you will receive 4%
[𝒊] The point of this suggestion is to encourage players to join and play in guilds. It may not be the perfect idea, but it is a starting point. It could also have disadvantages, but playing in a guild and asking for help can also be an advantage.

7. Just ideas
────────
⤷ From my point of view, Book of Vines is useless. I usually drop them because the price is too low. I suggest reducing the time from 24 hours to 20 hours.
⤷ Reaching level 35 takes a considerable amount of time, so I would suggest adding two 30-minute double experience rings: one in the level 10 chest and another in the level 20 chest.
⤷ Whitcher's Coin, 10% gold - > 10% drop and 2% int - > 4% int (Why? One of the coin is 2kk another 0)
⤷ Honestly, weapons and armours from level 1 to 18 are quite annoying, because I can’t really upgrade them to +7 or +8. I have to farm upgrade materials, which feels useless anyway since I will replace them with level 25 weapons and level 26 armour.
⤷ You should start making the events more interesting. We only have the Tanaka event occasionally, and there is no Hide event. From my point of view, the Ox event is also underappreciated.. One more thing—why don’t we have events during the weekend, when everyone is at home? I checked the event calendar, and Saturday and Sunday are empty (except for Dojang).

There are probably more, but I forgot some of them and there's already too much text

8. Battlepass
────────
Usually, a battle pass should be designed as a cycle of life—you exist, then you disappear.
⤷ One mission is to collect 100 flowers, while another is to destroy 100 flowers. I collect flowers, while someone else is buying or collecting them and removing them from the market (there are some flowers that are kinda useless, I can't selll them 200x with 4-5kk, where is the point? )
⤷ Metin Stone Compass — I’ve seen a lot of players dropping them. Why not add them to the Battle Pass? For example, requiring 10x Metin Stone Compass would help the market and make Ghost Forest more appreciated.
⤷ Another example: one mission could be to catch 50 fish, while another could require destroying or selling 30 fish. This would help keep the market stable. The same idea applies to clams—you could, for example, destroy 3 clams by giving them to the Shabby Pedestarian

All Battle Pass missions should be designed according to the state of the market.

ℹ️ I’m going to stop here. Probably more than 90% of these suggestions will be rejected, but most of them could still serve as a starting point for the team.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing these suggestions. Unfortunately, I’ll have to reject this post as it does not follow the forum guidelines. Each suggestion needs to be submitted as a separate thread so that the community and the team can discuss and address them individually. There are just too many discussion points for a single thread.

https://global.wom2.com/board/threads/how-to-make-effective-suggestions.7/

You are welcome to create separate threads for each of the suggestions mentioned here. I should also note, however, that some of these ideas may need further clarification or reconsideration, as they may not be feasible or promising in their current form, so I would not expect a lot of positive answers even if you do decide to create separate threads.

Warm wishes,
Essence.
