"Your item has been sold" private message

When an item is sold from the market, a message may be sent from the itemshop as a PM, in addition to appearing in the chat line.
The message is something like "your x item has been sold for x price".
Even if this message comes while you are playing the game, the wom2 icon on the taskbar may flash. You can give it a notification style.

since they don’t have the resources to complete their in-game wiki, this suggestion would just be a waste of time

This is not a valid argument to down vote a good suggestion, which is also not affecting in any way the game, and it's team's call to decide if they can and have the resources to implement it.

-1 in my opinion.
I want to get notifications for important stuff like private messages from real people. I also wouldn't want to get 20+ pm's every day because something got sold.

Why do you want a "bigger" or more noticeable notification if something got sold? What would be the benefit?

If you think a suggestion isn't a good one and you don't want to see in in the game, you simply downvote and maybe leave a comment. That has nothing to do with haters or being a "harmless" suggestion.

Calm down... Who said is mandatory to receive the notifications from your private shop? It can be implemented as something optional which can be set up from game option as "ON" or "OFF"...

Some of you dont even fully understand or think about the suggestion's benefits and just throw with hate to other people's suggestions because you are frustrated about other things that are directly affecting YOU rn and are not yet solved in the game...

If the option to turn it off would be introduced sure... but we already got info on chat and the website.

You need to stop label everything as hate if something goes against your opinion if something is good or not. I don't see a single message containing any "hate".

Neither the thread creator nor you have listed any advantages of this suggestion. In my last post, I even asked what advantages an extra notification would have for most players. You could have answered that. Instead, there was only a comment saying that people don't understand the suggestion and are against it out of hate “because they are frustrated.”

Are you aware that a person's personal opinion is exactly what is sought here in the suggestion section? If you personally like the suggestion, you upvote it. I personally, and other users, do not find this feature useful, so we downvote it. That's how the system works. This is how the wom2 team sees which features the community wants most.

and are not yet solved in the game...
It is solved in the game. You get an notification inside the info chat.
If you think that's not enough and the developers should invest their time in this feature, then you need to convince people here why it's a good idea and why we need it. As I see the suggestion, I don't see any reason why you should immediately receive a PM + window notification when something has been sold. You might as well just check the chat, check the website from time to time, or open the shop in-game to see if any slots have become available.

so, in the end, what is your big argument against this suggestion? a lot of bla bla bla, but nothing concrete...

As I previously said and I will repeat myself for you once again @sirzento, you can SWITCH THE NOTIFICATIONS FROM SHOP ON OR OFF!

so, in the end, what is your big argument against this suggestion?
If you had read my messages, if a suggestion has no benefit, why waste time to develope it? You already wrote 5 messages in here and still failed to name a single benefit that would justify this suggestion. There are already two other people who also don't see the benefit. When a suggestion is made, it must be explained how this suggestion improves WoM2, rather than the other way around, where others have to explain why the suggestion is not good. You should stop taking everything personally and just answer the question I'm asking for the third time: What are the objective advantages?

As I previously said and I will repeat myself for you once again @sirzento, you can SWITCH THE NOTIFICATIONS FROM SHOP ON OR OFF!
I could suggest "Make an option to make every npc say some funny jokes when clicking on them" and if someone would says something against it, I would just say "just deactivate the option. You don't have to use it". Oh wait, thats exactly what you are doing right now. And if you still don't see it now, I'll give up.

So my arguments against it are:
- Most players would not use this feature (Votes and other people I asked indicates this)
- I can't find any benefit of having yet another notification for sales
- Even if this would be easy to implement, it still used up time from the devs

And here are the benefits of this suggestion I found in this thread:
- ?
