This is just an opinion, an observation.
7200 minutes feels highly unreasonable, especially for an un-skippable mission.
That's about 4 hours a day, every single day, for the entire month.
In comparison, a full-time job of 7-8 hours a day means 30-50 hours more than what this mission requires.
I know you have to get those activity numbers/percentages up, but this is not what a BP means (at least for me).
With most BPs, the final rewards can be achieved by playing the game, not AFK it, so I would like to also play the game here.
Now you'll say "no one is forcing you to do the BP".
Yes, no one is, true. But I'd like to do it - but it's likely going to be the first and last time, due to Dawn's Watcher.
Now you'll say "but the final reward is really worth it".
Yes, indeed, it really is. But rather than target the entire BP to the non-casual playerbase, maybe increase the mission count by 1 and add one difficult mission that gives the worthy reward, keep the required missions for the final reward the same.
Now you'll say "just leave your client open".
Idk, not everyone can? A player might have the time to complete all missions but this one simply because they can't find the time, even AFK time for it. And even if, let's say, they'd take advantage of the weekend and leave their clients on for 12 hours every single weekend, that'd still be only 96 hours (out of the 120). They'd need 15 hours every weekend for the 120 hours.
In short, I find it unreasonable as a mandatory quest to complete the BP. If it wasn't mandatory, but it gave a substantial reward, I'd still probably ignore it. I know there are multiple implications, especially with no-lifers that can keep all of their chars online all day long, people completing BPs on multiple chars and all that, but this is my 2 cents.
As a regular metin2 player, if I saw the WoM2 BP rewards/offer, got into the game, then saw the 7200 minutes mission, and then the value of the final (Premium) reward, I would likely choose not to play here - or at least be around for a couple of weeks/1 month, then realize that BP rewards give (imo) a massive Yang advantage, and that maybe is not worth to try and progress here. In comparison, I personally can ensure progression for my characters with 2 hours of farming every day, even complete most BP missions in that timeframe.
Obviously, I'm biased here, so I might've pulled some things out of my ass, which is why the thread is in General Discussion.
Also let's give some love to PvP - Defence Scaling thread - I think it covers some great points that will certainly make PvP better overall.
