Weekly Guild Challenge

Hello everyone i would like to propose a new initiative to make the game more engaging and get guilds more involved in competitive activities. The idea is to organize weekly guild challenge events, held every weekend from Friday morning until Sunday night/Monday morning. This timeframe is designed to encourage participation, as most players have more time to play over the weekend.

How does it work?

Each week, guilds will compete in different challenges. Here are some examples of possible challenges:

• Metin Hunt: The guild that destroys the most metins. Each destroyed metin will earn the guild a certain number of points, which will be tallied up from all contributing guild members.

• Demon Tower: Each time a guild member kills a Death Reaper, the guild earns points.

To better balance the challenges and encourage participation during peak hours, I suggest a dynamic point system based on time slots:
• From 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM: 20 points for each Death Reaper killed.
• From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM: 30 points.
• From 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM: 50 points.
• From 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM: 10 points.

This system allows more points to be earned during peak hours when more players are likely to be online, while still providing opportunities for those who play during less active hours

The rewards for the winning guilds could include shop coins for players in the top 5 guilds. The higher the ranking, the greater the rewards. However, to receive the coins, each player must have actively contributed to the challenge, for example by earning a minimum of 1000 points personally.

Other ideas for challenges.. there are many other possible challenges, such as:

Boss Hunt: Bosses across various maps could give different amounts of points depending on their difficulty:

• Bosses in map1 and map2: 2 points per kill.

• Bosses in the Valley and higher: 10 points or more, depending on difficulty and go on..

This way, even lower-level players can contribute to the guild’s success.

The main goal of these events is to give guilds a stronger sense of purpose and competition, focusing on PvM since PvP competition on WoM is still a distant goal. This system could not only make the game more lively but also strengthen the spirit of collaboration within guilds.

I hope this proposal will be well received. I look forward to your feedback and any additional ideas!

Thanks for your attention.

The main idea and the idea is very good, but it can be a bit difficult to put it into practice, there are too many dynamic factors, if something like this can be done, I believe that something very fantastic and very beautiful will emerge. (y)

There can't be a weekly Guild challenge when you have a maximum of 10 big/united guilds and then 3-4 major guilds that will have to put in the least of effort to complete each challenge.

• Bosses in map1 and map2: 2 points per kill.
How would a newbie in a guild feel trying this mission and getting camped by some lv. 105 crap char protecting their farmer "for more points"?

Yes, it sounds nice overall, but WoM2 doesn't have the environment set-up for that.

Trust me that when you get into competition many guilds will start to split up because then maybe there are those who don't actively participate and get kicked out and as a result a new guild is born and so on.

Also thanks to this system many guilds will start to ally to counter the more advanced ones

I like that you're optimistic.
Regardless of the outcome, the main participants will always be the same major groups, regardless of the guild they're part of.

So the Weekly Guild Challenge might become a "let's see who absorbs who faster" challenge? I'm not sure if I like that.

Once again, more opinion are needed. I like the idea and I likely have a biased/shallow view on it, but I feel like the community can refine it to something good and positive overall. Now it rests upon the team to do something with the idea.
