Accepted This scamming method is ruining the server

This issue has been addressed before, but I believe it needs to be addressed again because it is morally wrong and actively harming the server. Many players have quit because they became victims of this behavior. It relies entirely on human error and is used with bad intent. People make mistakes—it’s part of being human—and there will always be cases where someone falls for this unintentionally.

This is scamming in its purest form and should not be allowed on the server. It provides no benefits and only creates negative consequences for the community. While players should of course be careful when making purchases, mistakes will always happen, and exploiting those mistakes should not be acceptable.

I am asking the staff to either make this behavior punishable or to change the shop system in a way that prevents this from happening altogether.

As long as it is not punished, the number of scammers will keep increasing. It was 1 now 10 scammers. They are doing this with every kind of items. Maybe put another confirmation before buying for the exceptional prices. Because people are mass buying things and may not be careful about scams sometimes. This is one of the examples. They try to get use of your distraction.

There should be no room for scammers on this server. In my opinion, doing stuff like this should lead to a warning, temp-ban or something, and a repeated offense resulting in a perma ban, without the need of actually selling an item but simply spotting and reporting such a shop.

The team always preaches "be kind and respectful", but the worst kind of players - scammers - don't get punished. The "why" is a complete mystery to me.
This topic has been discussed before, with the team's reply being "Just be careful what you buy". Unacceptable in my eyes.
This is not about someone accidentally putting another 0 on a single item. This is obviously a deliberate scamming attempt by abusing items that allow different prices, scattering those inside the regular priced ones. Absolutely despicable.

1 thing i would like to add.
Unfortunately the server as it is right now facilitates this kind of scam because :
Right now most of the items that are the same are required by the server to be placed at the same price. This lures people in a false sense of security making them think that "if one item has this price , the same item near it will also have the same price"
If you dont know that an item has the potential to be used like this , you are less wary of a scam and thus you have your guard down.

I think this can be fixed with a price range added to the engine search, I dunno how easy is to implement that, but, it will work as intended and the market will not suffer because of it.

Thanks for your suggestion. We'll move forward with @Vanity 's idea for now, which is having (more) different colors for price ranges.
Note: At the moment, we’re handling a large number of suggestions and other ongoing tasks, so it’s difficult to estimate when this specific idea might be implemented. We’ve marked it as moderate in terms of urgency, but there are currently higher-priority items that need to be addressed first. Still, every accepted suggestion will be implemented at some point.
