Thief Glove Rework, The Disaster.

I think the main reason this change was for the purpose of buffing the redforest, but in the results this made the new / mid players quit the game because they cannot farm anymore.
Before the rework, you paid 3kk for 2 hours of thief gloves, now you pay 3.5kk for 1 hours so 7kk for 2 hours. As u can see, this is a disaster for new players.
I think this was the worst possible way to buff the redforest and it should be reverted asap.

exactly, they will have 20000 different updates to make it better the game.... no, thief 1hours and exp 30m.... no sense.

i spend 7kk for farm 2 hours and give 7kk with metin in this 2 hours... gg.

Why do you even use thief's glove? It barely gives any extra value, without glove you also have some drop, but at least you don't spend extra money on it. It's probably only worth to use it in red forest at this price.

The problem with the thief's gloves is this: U should revert them back to 2 hours and increase the yang that u received when u sell the items at general store.

The current problem with the mid-level farm is that the price of the glove is the amount of yang you produce from the farm in that hour to get your money back. Fragments drop quite hard and the drop of metin stones up to level 65 is quite weak.

The update that changed the Glove and the Ring was just an opportunity for those who farm 85-90 metins to produce much more yang than they produced before, but most players have not passed level 60 and these changes affect them quite strongly .

Many friends have stopped farming with the glove because the drop is not good enough to make a profit after buying it.

My suggestion is that in the future the impact on the low/medium level players should also be taken into account because if all the changes are made in favor of the high level ones it will result in the loss of interest of the players who cannot keep up and cannot produce at the low-medium level.

Surely a change must be made in this direction because it is not beneficial in the long term.

Fully agree with my peers above, buying glove makes no sense as of now.

I'm breaking dead even if I buy glove for farming stones. The raw yang from the extra drops amounts to the price of the glove.
Keep in mind this is with a decently invested char, and killing stones non-stop with full IM pack.

What chance does a guy who fights for spawn stand? None, it's a detriment for him to buy the glove, this should NEVER be the case.

And don't even get me started about farming upgrade mats. You'll just gamble of the amount of drops you'll get to even break even.
Out of all the popular mats I could only come ahead on Curse Books.

Also, as a general rule, you should cater to the entirety of your player base, not just higher levels. As long as there aren't people from every level of play, the market will flop.
This was a general case of the boy who cried wolf, you gave in to anyone that moaned and cried harder.

Agree with the glove change being bad, not much to discuss.
Also I can add pet exp ring to the equation just because you already waste so much on pure red cheheom since naagas keys continue with the same crap

The ONLY healthy way to balance markets are to provide alternative content that's worth running where those key items don't drop.
This would mean, providing Red Forest farmers with worthwhile content where gloves/rings don't drop. Furthermore, if that alternative content requires gloves for maximal drop, the better. This decreases supply and adds demand at the same time.

The current fix that has been applied was, is and will always be a temporary patch on the wound that is lack of income generation sources due to a lack of content.

There's really not much more to this.

Actually, i'm not agree with that because thief glove should be a "luxury thing". As in some maps, the rewards are not meant to be worth buying the glove, that's another story.

I mean as much as the IM glove should be considered luxury, but the game is simply unplayable until you can get your hands on it.

Glove being convenient to buy means high levels get a steady amount of cash, low levels can farm items for the afromentioned groups alts (e.g.: biologist mats), and for mid levels (atleast for me) it gives me a slight hope of dropping a soulstone when walking the metin to metin treadmill which is still some motivation to keep going.

So if you have any ACTUAL reason to gate keep the glove please let us know! :)

No u are giga wrong. Thief glvoes is a must item not a luxury. Farming without the gloves is like doing cardio while eating pizza.

Changing thief's glove from 2h duration to 1h is a temporary solution, I hope.

If the main concern is high level farming content not bringing enough profit, it can be solved another way. Without harming the low level farmers who are used to having access to gloves to help their farming.

Iirc beta metins dropped gloves and exp rings too. Remove gloves and rings from beta metins and have them be obtainable only from Red Forest metins. There's other loot in beta maps anyways. No need to oversaturate the market with extra gloves.

But the 2h duration must return and everyone must have access to gloves. It's not a nice look for the server if you have to farm without gloves because the profit you get in an hour is the same as the price of a glove.
