🎃 WoM2 Halloween Costume Contest 2025 🎃

The spooky season is upon us once again, and it’s time to discover the most creative mind in the WoM2 Community! Step into your disguise, show off your imagination, and let the jury decide who wore it best!

📅 October 24th – Submissions Open

Submit a screenshot of your character’s costume along with a picture of your real or fictional inspiration.
You may submit one entry only, until the end of the day on November 7th.

Screenshots may be visually adjusted (e.g. saturation, contrast, or clarity tweaks), but must not be digitally altered or recreated from scratch.

🧙‍♀️ November 8th – Jury Evaluation

A panel of 10 WoM2 staff members will review all submissions and score them from 1 to 10. The top three highest-scoring entries will receive the following rewards:

Halloween night arrived on WoM2. The towns glowed with pumpkins and players hunted candies under the moonlight. Everything felt normal..... until midnight.


A system message appeared:

“A dark presence has entered WoM2…”

Moments later, fog spread across Yongan. In the graveyard stood a man in a white mask holding a knife. No name, no HP bar, only silence.



A player attacked him. The hit landed, then the screen froze. Disconnected.


Chat exploded, but the figure didn’t move. He walked slowly toward anyone nearby. Every death came with a faint heartbeat sound.


GMs tried to stop him, but their characters vanished one by one. Then a final message appeared:

“Player: Michael_Myers has joined WoM2.”

Now, each Halloween night, players say you can still see him near the Yongan graveyard, standing in the fog underneath the twisted tree.


And if your screen flickers, it might already be too late.

The Witch and the Halloween Treasure


The silver moon hung low above the haunted forest, its pale light twisting through the crooked branches like strands of silk.
A chill mist rolled along the ground, whispering through the roots of dead trees and curling around the legs of the witch who walked there.


Her armor shimmered faintly — black metal veined with molten orange lines that pulsed like a living heartbeat. In one gloved hand, she held a chain of blackened iron — and at its end stalked her infernal companion.


Cerberus.


Three heads, one body forged in the heart of the underworld. His molten eyes cut through the fog as he sniffed the air, growling low when curious shadows moved closer.


The witch smiled.
“Easy, my darling beast. The spirits are only watching.”


They walked deeper into the forest, where the trees grew so close together that moonlight barely touched the earth. The silence pressed around them — heavy, waiting.


Rumor spoke of a forgotten treasure buried beneath these woods — the Halloween Treasure, guarded by the dead themselves.


Would they be able to find it? Or would the forest’s curse claim them, as it had all the others who dared to seek its secrets?

We made no rule against that and therefore are unable to refuse such entries at the moment. However, I'd like to stress the fact that originality is a big factor in the judging process.

The point of the contest is to find and reward the best look that was inspired by something, not the other way around.

Her spirit guide spoke in a voice that was both a whisper and a command, saying the dance was the burden and the cure. It was the only way, it insisted, to stitch her power back into the places it had frayed.
Wednesday did not want to move, yet the night had a gravity all its own. She let her feet find the rhythm of a tune the darkness hummed, one step winding around memories, another stepping through the cracks of doubt.

Under the night's veil in Yongan, the alley reeked of iron and rot. Seven lifeless bodies lay sprawled across the cobblestones, limbs twisted, eyes wide in frozen terror. Their dresses, once vibrant, were soaked in crimson and grime. Above them stood a lone figure—tall, cloaked, his face obscured by the brim of a black hat. Jack the Ripper. He clapped slowly at first, then faster, louder, until the sound echoed like gunshots through the alley. His laughter erupted—high-pitched, jagged, unhinged. It bounced off the brick walls, mingling with the mist like a curse. His boots crushed lace and flesh as he danced atop the carnage, arms raised in triumph. The night swallowed his madness whole, and the city slept on, unaware of the horror beneath its skin.

Did you know that Hercules was assigned twelve missions? The hardest and final one was to capture and bring the three-headed dog, Cerberus, from the underworld to the earth.

I wanted to cosplay Hercules’ capture of Cerberus in the Halloween map, since the map itself gives strong underworld vibes. Unfortunately, there isn’t any costume that accurately represents Hercules and his outfit. So I wanted to portray the scene itself by using my imagination and adapt it into the WoM world. (Matching the Cerberus animation with the Angry emote at the right time was quite challenging though😅)

P.S. Only the chain is photoshopped, with some adjustments and post-productions applied to the screenshot.

🕯️ “The Witch Who Baked the Moonlight”​

In a quiet village at the edge of the woods, a young witch spent her nights by the old stone oven, learning the art of gentle fire — baking warmth, potions, and dreams for the creatures that loved her. The geese were her only company, waddling close as sparks of magic danced like fireflies in the dark.


But one Halloween night, the fire whispered her name.
Its glow turned crimson, the shadows stretched, and the geese fell silent.
Curiosity overcame fear — she leaned closer, and the oven’s flame blinked like an eye.


From that night on, villagers said they still saw the same glow flickering in the forest…
But no one ever found the witch — only the geese, keeping watch by the fire that never died.
