A block that is not absolute is not a block.
If a player can still force their words onto your screen, the system preserves the very vector that enables harassment: compelled exposure. In practice it shifts the burden onto the recipient (“endure it, ignore it, go on”) which is the opposite of what a blocking mechanism is meant to achieve.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your suggestion, it’s certainly a valid and thoughtful proposal. I’ll move it to Considering for the time being.

As mentioned in a previous thread, our developers are currently focused on developing the top-priority content and addressing older suggestions. Because of that, I’m unable to provide a definitive timeline or outcome at this moment. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your idea.

Warm wishes,
Essence.

I believe this is an urgent matter, as it is affecting people’s QoL on a daily basis and on multiple occasions.

I strongly urge you to reconsider and accept the suggestion, as this issue is closely related to harassment. No one wants to repeatedly read or see the inappropriate comments of certain individuals, yet they are being forced to. From an outside perspective, it appears that the staff is ignoring the issue, especially considering it has been reported many times over the past year. It needs to be fixed ASAP, the community has had enough of it.

Thanks for understanding.
