I really hope that the above will be taken into serious consideration and should be deemed a priority. Unfortunately, the current state of the server does not allow pvp content to be properly enjoyed and the effects are evident:
- low participation in pvp events (dojan and NW) at every level and especially at high levels;
- total absence of open word pvp, both open pvp and 1v1 (which has always been the feature that makes Metin2 different from other games of the genre) at every level and especially at high levels;
- consequently, less incentive to achieve goals pushing players to leave the server.
It would seem that this issue is not totally ignored by those who administer the server in fact something has been done: one of the modes introduced to increase the "pvp resistance/duration" of players in pvp is the change of dragon claw and dragon breath skills. However, it is clear that the drop rate of these books is very low and makes it, in fact, impossible for most players to increase these skills.
In any case, even this small change, which needs improvement in terms of drop rates, is useful but way far from being sufficient!
Those who played the old wom2 remember the huge participation in pvp events, with guild tournaments that had a participation of 5-6 guilds at each level as well as large opvp fights and duels (so called "10 set") with a huge audience and hype for the whole server.
This can be done because the server remains the best around (in my opinion) but a few more steps need to be taken. There would also be a need to talk about upgrades and change rates, implementing ways to reduce the impact of the RNG (perhaps introducing items that, even very expensive, would guarantee success) but this is not the place.
Just a few videos to refresh the memory:
