Proposal for the introduction of a new passive skill system for guilds
Currently, the skills that can be activated during guild wars offer an interesting dynamic in battles. However, to further improve engagement and collaboration within guilds, I propose introducing passive skills, which would provide continuous benefits in both PvM and PvP. Here is a possible structure for the system:
I believe this suggestion could revitalize interest in guild dynamics, making the gameplay experience more collaborative and immersive.
Currently, the skills that can be activated during guild wars offer an interesting dynamic in battles. However, to further improve engagement and collaboration within guilds, I propose introducing passive skills, which would provide continuous benefits in both PvM and PvP. Here is a possible structure for the system:
Passive PvM Skills (Player vs Monster):
- Max HP – Increases the maximum health of guild members.
- Strong against monsters – Increases damage dealt to monsters.
- Strong against Metin stones – Increases damage dealt to Metin stones.
- Strong against bosses – Improves effectiveness against bosses.
- Attack power inside dungeons – Increases attack power within dungeons.
Passive PvP Skills (Player vs Player):
- Strong against warriors – Increases damage against the warrior class.
- Strong against ninjas – Increases damage against the ninja class.
- Strong against shamans – Increases damage against the shaman class.
- Strong against suras – Increases damage against the sura class.
- Defense against suras – Reduces damage received from suras.
- Defense against warriors – Reduces damage received from warriors.
- Defense against ninjas – Reduces damage received from ninjas.
Skill advancement mechanics:
- Required materials to upgrade skills: Guild members will need to contribute materials such as Plywood, Logs, Foundations, along with Exp, Money, and possibly new items specific to this system.
- Progression: Each passive skill has 5 upgrade levels. It will not be possible to choose which skill to improve first; the progression will be pre-determined. For example, the first upgrade will always be Max HP, and once it's upgraded to level 5, the next skill (like Strong against monsters) will become available for improvement, and so on.
Advantages of the new system:
- Increased value of guild items: Materials such as Plywood, Logs, and Foundations, which currently have little relevance, would become essential, generating more interest and activity for gathering them.
- Resource and yang recycling: This system would encourage players to donate more resources to the guild, including yang and experience, even after the guild has reached its maximum level.
- Collaboration and engagement: Working together to improve passive skills would foster more cooperation among guild members, creating a stronger bond and sense of belonging that has diminished over time.
- Sense of belonging: This system would give a real purpose to being part of a guild, beyond just owning guild land or having a title above your name. Guilds would gain more strategic relevance, both in PvM and PvP.
I believe this suggestion could revitalize interest in guild dynamics, making the gameplay experience more collaborative and immersive.
