Hi everyone,

First of all, thanks to the team for acknowledging the bean problem in the previous thread and implementing changes

It's a step in the right direction, but after some time playing with these changes live, I have to be honest: it's not enough.
The core problem hasn't changed. You need 100 beans to craft a single Alchemic Scroll, and while the craft itself is guaranteed, actually using the scroll to take out a stone can fail repeatedly. So realistically you're farming hundreds of beans across multiple scrolls before you get a successful extraction. With the current drop sources, the time investment is completely out of proportion to the reward.

And here's the clearest proof of how broken the supply is:
right now, on the entire market, there are only around 70 Blue Dragon Beans and roughly 90 Green Dragon Beans. That means even if you wanted to buy your way to a scroll, you literally couldn't the whole server's market combined doesn't have the 100 beans needed for a single craft. When an entire server's economy can't supply one crafting attempt, that's not a rarity mechanic, that's a dead system. The bigger issue: the new sources simply don't generate enough beans. The drops added since beta chaoses don't provide anywhere near enough beans to meet the demand, and the Insanity additions suffer from a double problem not enough players are farming Insanity Stones in the first place, and even for those who do, the amount of beans dropping there is too low. So between low participation and low drop rates, the actual number of beans entering the economy barely moved.

So here are my suggestions:

1. Increase bean drop rates across ALL existing sources. Even a moderate global buff would make the 100 bean requirement feel achievable instead of soul crushing.

2. Add bean drops to Stones of Dusk, not just Stones of Insanity. Dusk gets more traffic than Insanity, so putting beans there means the change actually reaches more players and more beans enter the economy overall.

3. Add beans to Chaos of Dusk as well. Same logic spread the drops across the content that actually gets run.

4. Add a crafting/exchange option for beans. For example, let us convert one bean type into another, or craft beans from cheaper materials. This would give players agency instead of being 100% at the mercy of RNG drops, and it would help balance out situations where you're drowning in one bean type but starved of another.

5. Make the Alchemic Scroll itself droppable from content. Right now crafting is the only way to obtain a scroll. Adding it as a rare drop from Meley chests - would create an alternative path, take some pressure off the bean economy, and give players another reason to run this content.

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion. We've decided not to move forward with it for the time being.

Warm wishes,
Essence.
