Hello everyone, many players are complaining about the difficulty of selling dropped items, probably due to the low player population. On some servers, to improve the situation, we could introduce an NPC that buys upgrade items and chests. Of course, the prices would be decided by the staff while taking the in-game economy and current market prices into account, with values slightly lower than the prices set by players in the market.
If implemented intelligently, this system could help maintain a minimum price for certain items. For example, if an Orc Tooth could always be sold to the NPC for 1kk, players would never sell it for less than that amount. This would also make farming more profitable for new players. The same applies to the thousands of upgrade items we accumulate in the level 90 maps.
Obviously, we would have to accept earning a little less compared to selling through our personal shops, but at least players would feel more motivated to play and farm, because they would know that everything they collect can still be sold instead of remaining unsold for weeks.
If properly balanced, it could also help keep the value of certain items stable, preventing prices from dropping too low; otherwise, farming those items would eventually cost more than the actual profit gained from selling them.
What do you think about this idea?
