Rejected Normal pickaxe should allow to mine ALL normal veins

Normal pickaxe should allow to mine ALL normal veins and the new pickaxes to only be useful for the overcharged veins.

Right now, if you want to upgrade your pickaxe, you are stuck to map1 to mine for 100 Diamonds 100 Copper and 100 Fossils... how is this going to push/motivate anyone to progress faster in game, if you keep him/her for months in map1 to just mine?

+1 going in map1/map2 with 105 chars to mine diamond/copper/fossil is so cringe XD and then you gotta mine the next tier and so on.. until you reach the max pickaxe to be able to mine in beta (while already having weekly bp missions to mine a specific beta ore) it'll be winter 2026

Adding here - according to the crafting window at Deokbae -
To craft an Iron Pickaxe and be able to mine Jade, Pearl, White Gold, the minimum craftable is a +4 Pickaxe, which means you need a +4 Copper (so also Normal pickaxe) to be able to mine those ores.
I'm currently top 48 on Ores Mined All Time and have been mining quite regularly for BP and whatnot this past year and have a +4 Pickaxe.
However, it gets worse.
To craft a Steel Pickaxe and be able to mine Crystal, Amethyst, Heaven's Tear, the minimum craftable is a +6 Pickaxe, which means you need to get a Pick to +6 to do that.

For long term players, the benefits will be astronomical. Anyone that started in the past year, however, will not engage in mining probably at all, unless they really want to mine just Diamonds, I guess.

The idea is there. The execution - I don't know if it's so good.

More, maybe winter 2026 if you don't play the actual game and just mine.

How do you know that you are in top48 on ores mined? 🤔

The ranking tells you if you select "Ores Mined" and select "All time". Even if you're not top 20 it'll tell you your position.
I also mined pretty consistently and have just two +4 pickaxes sooo... I saw some random dude sell a +6 one for 10kkk so there's that XD

Just came back to check how things are going and see this mess. Great way to ruin my mood and chance to come back. Why should i come back and invest my time and money in this? Who thought that was an good idea? Just let me mine. Why is my pickaxe+4 not able to mine basic map1 stuff? This is beyond me. (n)

I got my paysafe all ready and would love to invest. can u please fix mining so i don't need to invest in your guys bad decisions?
nobody ever wanted mining to be even more useless than it was. takes forever. mining and reading the books take forever.
getting specific axes for specific areas is just a chore nobody wants to do. we already stand hours at some ores for very little yang. this is insane. it is baffling me and i dont even mean that as an insult. i am curious how it could come to this? who wanted worse mining?

That's the main question, who asked for this? Players asks for a lot of other things and you maybe implemented 5% of the requests, but you came up with a feature that NOBODY asked for! WHY? Why are you ruining the basic mechanics of the game especially if NO ONE asked for it??

And do you really think that this new mining system is in ANY WAY attractive to any potential new player?

It makes me 🤮

be careful ig. i just got most of my accounts in 1-3 days ingame suspensions. i dont play regurlary so it doesnt matter but i was thinking of coming back and that doesn't matter anymore either. guess i play one of my other 1000+ games. they really showed me. It's like wom2 gestapo out there with helpful simps included. bet this post gets blocked or the thread closed without them ever addressing or changing anything. customer is kind doesnt apply to this group.

it's the truth tho and i am chill. it aint worth getting all mad about. reading into something and attaching emotions to words without seeing face / body aint easy. i make that mistake from now and then too.
either way it's crazy how they can not adress the elephant in the porcellan shop, instead they block when they here "mining is bad" as if mining is voldemort himself.
no gm answered any questions here either. im disappointed at this point. maybe that came off as anger.
I loved the wom2 moderation around the time Don left and joined here for a while but i got no idea what happened afterwards.

Ita much more profitable and worth to do now for the ones that mine it comparing to the old mining ,harder but pays off if u r not lazy thats what i meant

who do you mean? people who were not inevesting in mining are now taking over mining?
i swear normies get catered everywhere. you upgradeded axe and skill and there was nothing wrong with it.
for what. ja takes forever to get a max. axe since the NPC fails too and i am not even mentioning the mining itself.
