From your reply and dedication it seems like you got more frustrated than the thread author 🤣This is absolute nonsense. I honestly can’t believe you wrote this, read it again, and then decided it was a great idea to post it on a public forum.
Everything about the Christmas Event is clearly explained in the forum thread (https://global.wom2.com/board/threads/2025-christmas-event-grinch-vs-santa-edition-2.3282/) Yes, snowballs can only be obtained from the boss on Sohan Mountain, which is a map available from level 40 and up. I’m not exactly happy about that either, since I’m level 35 on purpose so I can farm Metin Stones and Bestial Captains/Specialists and drop valuable items that I later sell for profit. Because of that, I have no physical way of getting snowballs myself.
Either way, claiming that characters below level 35 have no way to make money or participate in the event is simply ridiculous, thats why:
To sum it up, sorry for the harsh words, but you simply let your emotions take over and behaved immaturely, like a small child whose toy was taken away. Can you imagine a level 70 player complaining that it’s unfair because level 35 players can farm Metins of Jealousy and get drops while they can’t? Come on. Cool down and think twice before posting such absurd things on a public forum.
- You can still drop Christmas decorations while killing any mobs around your level (I believe the range is about 10–15 levels up or down). I often get several Green Bonus Changers, which I sell for at least 1kk each. That’s already a very solid way of making money. The decorations themselves can be hung on the Christmas tree to receive a Tier I gift box. As mentioned, you won’t be able to upgrade it without snowballs, but you can still trade it. There will always be players who want to upgrade it themselves because they have access to snowballs but don’t feel like farming decorations. That’s yet another way to earn.
- You can also kill bosses around your level, such as Bestial Captain, Bera (yes, it drops from her as well), or the Orc Chief. These drop Stolen Recipes, which you can exchange at the Old Lady for Easter Cookies that give very strong bonuses (for example, white ones give 150 defense for 10 minutes). In many cases, these bonuses are comparable to Dews, which are only available from level 55 and require harder crafting. Once again, you can sell them. I did it myself, and there’s plenty of demand.
PS. Like @DeCiMaToR already said, if the server feels unplayable to you at this stage because of something this trivial, you should be prepared for much bigger challenges in the future. If something like this triggers such extreme emotions in you, I don’t see a very bright future ahead. I realize you might see me as rude after what I wrote, but it’s simply the truth. I don’t sugarcoat things. That said, if you want, I’d be happy to show you a few farming spots or even help you with dropping event items. Maybe that would change your perspective on the situation.
Tbh, he spoke only about event and the author is right, anyone bellow lvl 45 is just a waste of time trying to participate on the event, restrictions about entering the event map (having to complete quests for it) is insane too, it increases even more the gap of lower player and higher playersThis is absolute nonsense. I honestly can’t believe you wrote this, read it again, and then decided it was a great idea to post it on a public forum.
