Jewelry Refine Duration Extension System
Objective
The purpose of this system is to increase the value of entry-level dungeons while improving the usability of temporary jewelry refines, without affecting PvP/PvM balance or introducing power creep.
New Droppable Item
Introduce a new item obtainable from entry-level dungeon bosses, such as:
• Metin2 Naga Dungeon
• Baroness Dungeon
• Demon Tower
This item would be used as a crafting material to extend the duration of jewelry refines.
Crafting System (Alchemist)
Option 1 – Basic Duration Extension
Required materials:
• x3 of the refine you want to extend
• x1 +4 Stone
• x1 new dungeon drop item
Result:
Creates an upgraded version of the refine with its duration increased from 4 hours to 12 hours.
Option 2 – Advanced Duration Extension
Required materials:
• x5 of the refine you want to extend
• x1 +4 Stone
• x1 new dungeon drop item
Result:
Creates an upgraded version of the refine with its duration increased from 4 hours to 24 hours.

• Gives more value and replayability to entry-level dungeons
• Creates a new market and item demand
• Adds a useful refine sink by consuming multiple refines
• Improves quality of life for players without increasing character power
• Keeps the system balanced, since only the duration changes, not the bonus itself
