I would like to suggest an improvement regarding an issue that, in my opinion, is becoming quite frustrating: the lack of a proper global chat between kingdoms.
At the moment, we only have the kingdom chat and the Trade chat. While the Trade chat is technically global, it is restricted strictly to trading. This creates a paradoxical situation where the only global channel available cannot actually be used for general interaction, otherwise you risk getting muted even for completely harmless messages.
Metin is a game that heavily relies on competition between players and kingdoms. And competition naturally involves interaction, light provocation, and a bit of “healthy flame” not toxicity or insults, but something that makes the game feel alive. Of course, staff moderation is important and necessary, but there should still be some level of freedom in communication.
Right now, it gets to the point where even writing something like “Hated on?” or “Redbastard on?” clearly without any offensive intent, can result in long chat mutes. That honestly feels excessive.
I understand the staff’s intention to keep the Trade chat clean and focused on trading. However, at this point there are two possible solutions:
- either turn the Trade chat into a proper global chat with active moderation
- or add a separate global chat alongside the Trade chat
Realistically, a bit of off-topic conversation or light banter would not prevent people from trading. Message speed is not such a critical issue to justify these strict limitations.
In short, what’s currently missing is a global communication space that makes the game more dynamic, competitive, and engaging.
Also, let’s be honest: the Trade chat is already being used by many streamers as a global chat to spam when they go live, so it feels a bit weird to see it strictly enforced only in certain situations.
I hope you will take this suggestion into consideration.
