I salute the all powerful staff members of the WoM2 Universe, my enemies and also my friends!
Like many others, I leveled up gathering on 2 characters, only to find it effectively useless.
The effort you need to put in to get some ok potions far outweigh any economic practicality of developing this skill.
Also, the amount of clutter it creates in the inventory is so bad that I needed to create a separate account so I can store flowers and potions.
Just like fishing has the penguin who exchanges useless stuff for other drops you may actually use or sell, just like mining has the lumberjack where you can use useless ores to upgrade your pick, therefore creating a market for them, I suggest a system where the useless stuff from gathering gets repurposed as an exchange/upgrade material for other types of liquids, so that we can clear the inventory clutter and create a way to craft progressively more powerful potions.
I suggest a Liquid Concentration system where you initially craft one potion at the lowest level and then mix it up with a number of the same concentration potions to get a better one, and so on until you reach a level which satisfies your expectations.
More grind, less chance.
Thank you!
