Hello everyone,

I have a suggestion regarding events where you can obtain special items, such as Moonlight Treasure Chests, Puzzle Boxes, etc.

My suggestion is to make these events accessible to every player who is active that day, regardless of when they have time to play.

Here is my idea:

The event could be made available for 24 hours, and each player could decide when they want to activate the event for their character. Once activated, the event would run for the originally intended duration for that player.

For example, if the event is normally scheduled to run from 8 PM to 9 PM, the event could be available to activate throughout the day. If a player has time at 1 PM, they could activate it then, and the event would run for the full one-hour duration for that player, from 1 PM to 2 PM.

This would make the event accessible to everyone, regardless of their playtime or schedule, while keeping the actual event duration the same.

I think this would be a great quality-of-life improvement and would allow more players to participate in these events.

As someone who is frustrated by the timing of these events and the fact that I can't always join, I still disagree with this approach. It's the kind of thing that adds quality of life but subtracts the community aspect of the game.

Take the Jigsaw Event for example, before the event people advertise for fishing rods, fishing book. Just after there's a craziness to buy the boxes, dyes etc. This creates the MMO/community feel, as we're all doing this together at the same time.
Or the moonlight, people will just activate it at times when there are fewer people and get shitton of boxes because there's no competition at certain hours.

In addition I guess it's also rather hard from a technical point of view to add systems to prevent abuse (is the activation per account/per client/per ip/per something else?)

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion. We've decided not to move forward with it.

Warm wishes,
Essence.
