Post-Chapter 4 Feedback: Issues & Suggestions​


Since the Chapter 4 release, many of us feel the server has gone downhill. Several things need to be reverted or adjusted:


1. PvP Balance​


PvP is still not balanced. This should be a top priority, people are complaining about some time now,


2. Two-Handed Weapons Nerf​


The 2-handed weapons nerf makes no sense.
They’ve always been stronger since the start of the server. Changing their effectiveness now feels like a bait-and-switch, leaving those investments worthless.


3. Fireland vs. Red Forest​


Fireland is better than Red Forest, despite Red Forest requiring a bigger investment. This discourages progression into higher-tier content.


4. Ninja Class​


Ninja has been completely destroyed. Instead of balancing it out for PvM, it was gutted. A rework or proper adjustment is needed, not complete deletion from the meta.


5. Wedding TP Ring Change​


Why was this even changed??? No one asked for it, and it just adds confusion.


6. Battlepass System​


The new Battlepass is awful. Please revert to the old system—it was more enjoyable and fair for people with not that much time on their hands to do the daily misions.


7. Communication​


Topics and feedback go unanswered.


8. Sura Weapons​


Sura weapon is still garbage. This needs fixing—they're not competitive with other classes gear.


9. Mining System

Lol, i think the topics speak for themselves.




Final Point: The Market & Player Base​


Right now, the market is dead. The server badly needs a wave of new players, but there are no promotions, no events, no incentives bringing people in.

Most of the players that i play/played with left the server or "took a break" with the release of this chapter. I think the staff should work more with the players to adjust the game.

I’m interested in hearing other opinions, just be real. No bootlicking the staff like some of the players on the server who are professionals at it.

Dear WoMellini Staffellini, I invite you to an honest and direct discourse. even though I know you're being handheld harder than a Nintendo Switch.
You've always mentioned "our direction", "our vision", "our plans" whenever you rejected topics and suggestions a decent part of the community was in favor of.
So my invitation to this discourse comes with a couple of questions:

1. Was it always your vision to delete a class and inherently a play style 2 years after no minor or major changes were brought to it?
2. Was it always your vision to play a 360 on your players who invested tons of money and time into their equipment, specifically 2-handers, and make all of that kinda useless right now?
3. Was it always your vision to make it so that like around 5 players on the whole server are able to mine Heaven's Tear and Soul Crystal after 2 years of server activity?
4. Was it always your vision to simply ignore thoroughly discussed topics within the community, such as the Sura status and the PvP imbalance?

Ergo, was it always your vision to... lightly speaking... **** on the time and money investment of your players? Or are you always counting on the fact that whales will be here regardless of what you do? I've seen you watch the mining topics, the sura topics, the BP complaints - and I'm honestly patiently waiting for next month to see the much needed adjustments that you'll make.

Let's not forget that regardless of how much a whale cashes in, you'll always need the rest of the playerbase to give value to that sweet DC.


So I invite you to honest discourse - is this the vision? To make drastic changes years into the server's lifespan? Yes, people can work again towards obtaining what they had on ninja, for example, on another character - but would you be willing to work again on/doing the same thing, investing the same effort, to obtain the same or worse results?

Add to this funny stuff in the deceitful forest like:
  • bagjanamu having no element and dealing like 40k when he's 99% hp XD
  • forest changers being worse than green changers (why can I roll 2% nature???)
  • no clear information which upgrade drops normally and which is locked behind this extra nature loot concept
  • bugged expeditions - no map marker at the 4th expedition, so impossible to complete
  • kirin horse being just a pretty monsters +4 stone basically since you'll never use it anywhere


And my personal favorite: random HP increase in the beta bosses - as if it wasn't increased already before

I'm playing Ninja. Some time after the update, I wanted to keep going. I was the only one who had destroyed over 70,000 Metins "As Ninja." Most of them from a mount. And it gave me satisfaction! That a Ninja can do it too. Since the update, I've been stuck in one place. If nothing changes soon, I'll leave too.
Metin contracted the virus from the gaming industry. Recently, computer games have lost popularity and are becoming increasingly unpopular. This is a good opportunity for a server like this. Regards.

You also forgot that the regular pickaxe should be able to extract regular ore
 
it all boils down to which party's feedback or "vision" has precedence over the other, players and testers/game designers. The bottom line is the tradeoff between the cost of the community dissatisfaction and enforcing your vision. We are all advocating for a balancing approach, you can preserve the core vision and at the same time make adjustments to align with our expectations/feedback.

The issue at the hand is that you've changed the core systems which made stay true to its original vision, and now it lost its appeal to the hardcore/veteran players.

They want constructive feedback. Im sorry but we are waaaaaay past that, since you dont answer our threads, why would we give you constructive feedback? You need to understand how bad your updates are (besides wb opvp). Banning me for offtopic, becouse i said "chapter4: catastrophe" in a thread? Thats not offtopic guys. Thats called hitting the nail in the head, since we ve been waiting 1 year for this pile of crap

Also why even introduce equipment when it will never be used by 99.9% of the playerbase?
First nemere items.. The earrings are worth over 100kkk on +9, even after over 1 year of Nemere being released.
Literally no player except a handful will ever have them, at the same time using +6 ones which are somewhat obtainable are no improvement over sce+9.
--> This items is basically non-existant for almost everyone.

And we will see the same direction with the Alraune stuff. From what Ive heard there arent even any higher than +6 ones yet, after almost 1 month of the update.

And just to be clear: I am fully supporting the idea of a hard server and items not being obtainable easily, but there is just a line that is being crossed here by a mile.
I mean, for example, if Sce+9 are worth roughly 10kkk, then nemere earrings should be worth let's say 20-30kkk, not 100+kkk.
Even at 20-30kkk, it would be an item that is incredibly hard to get, but at least it is somewhat obtainable when playing actively and saving up for a long time.
100kkk is playing a lot (lets say making 1kkk per day) for almost 3 months straight, and playing "normally" (~500kk per day) for over half a year, without taking a break for a single day.
How is that in any way or form reasonable?

And the same will happen with Alraune equipment in its current state. 5 players or so on the server will have them, for the others it is an item that they can entirely forget about.
