As many of you know, PvP on this server is not exactly in its best shape. Especially at level 105, it has reached what we can sadly call the worst PvP experience ever — despite WoM2 still being hands down the best server when it comes to character creation, growth, and customization.
As players, we have spent countless hours reporting issues, suggesting improvements, even begging for a change, but unfortunately nothing significant has happened. Therefore, the approach has shifted: if the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain.
After many attempts and a lot of thought, a group of friends and I have come to the conclusion that the only place where PvP is still enjoyable on this server is at level 79. And here's why:
1. Class Balance: At 79, all classes are much better balanced. No class is overwhelmingly superior to the others as happens in other level ranges, meaning player skill and character build actually matter.
2. PvP Playability: Although the defense system issues are well-known (and still present), at this level, thanks to a decent amount of magic resistance, block, and HP, PvP remains playable and fun. It’s easily the best “arena” for PvP that the server currently offers.
3. Accessibility: It’s far easier and less expensive to access PvP at level 79 than it is at 105. This makes it way more friendly and inclusive for everyone.
Therefore, we invite players of all levels to start this new adventure and join us! If you are interested, please send me a private message so I can add you to a cross-guild Discord server that I am setting up. It will be a space for us to organize duels and guild wars, exchange items, share suggestions, and simply enjoy the game together again like we used to — in a simpler, more balanced, and way less stressful environment.
Let’s bring the fun back to PvP, even if it’s still not perfect — it’s infinitely better than the current end level PvP!
The timing is perfect: expectations for the upcoming update are high, and from the spoilers, the new Arena system looks like it will feature team-based combat modes that fit perfectly for level 79 characters.
