Introducing the Badge Notification System
Hello!
We have some great news! Our upcoming update includes a new feature - the Badge Notification System similar to Discord.
Currently, the following notifications are supported:
- Private Messages
- Exchange Proposals
- Fishing Successes or Failures
- Significant Game Announcements (in progress)
- Duel Invitations
- Friend Invitations
- Party Invitations
- Guild or Guild War Invitations
The badge notification system on the taskbar operates as follows:
- You will receive notifications when you are not focused on the application or specific PM window (depending on the activity).
- The application icon flashes and increments the badge count for each notification. Once the number of notifications surpasses 9, it displays as '9+'.
- It's available on Windows 7 and later versions. Additionally, Windows has options such as "Show badges on taskbar apps" and "Show flashing on taskbar apps" that work alongside with this feature.
- When you click on the app and make it focus, all notifications, except private message notifications, will be marked as read until you read them all.
- Each application is now separate, they are no longer grouped.
Future updates will include the ability to control the following in-game options:
- Taskbar Flashing: Enable taskbar flashing.
- Unread Message Badge: Enable taskbar badge icon.
- Push Notification Inactive Timeout: Control the delay for push notifications during your inactivity, helping you manage when you receive notifications.
- Notification Selection: To customize your notification preferences, select the types of notifications you want, such as 'PM, Exchange' and so on.
