Call to arms: The 2025 WoM2 Grand Guild Tournament!

We're opening Anniversary Month with an exciting announcement for all PvP elitists and enthusiasts out there! Another year of our journey has passed so it is time for an examination of brawn and brain. All brave combat masters are called to battle on the 29th of March 2025 from 17:00CET for the fiery confrontation of the WoM2 Guild Tournament!

All interested formations are required to register for the Guild Tournament in the Registration Thread.

Guild Tournament Rules

1. The war will be fought under No restrictions mode, with a limit of 100 points and a maximum wartime of 15 minutes

2. The war must be held in the middle of the arena at the instructions of the Staff Member responsible for the Tournament

3. Guild Leaders must be online in order to start the guild war but they are not obligated to participate

4. Names of players who are not listed in the application can not participate in the guild tournament

5. A minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 6 participants are required in order for a war to be approved. A maximum of 3 substitutes are allowed

6. A player can not register multiple times from different guilds as either a fighter or a replacement

7. You can not register with a secondary account

8. A guild can exit the center arena of the guild map for a break once per war provided the enemy and staff are made aware of it beforehand. Players who attack their adversary during the time-out will be disqualified. Both teams can request for a combatant to be replaced with a substitute during the break

9. Players are forbidden to exit the arena from the opposite side of their team's entry point

10. You can NOT access the arena buffed. The mage from your guild has to buff the party when you are preparing to fight in the middle of the arena

11. Any registration edits after the registration time expires on the 28th of March 2025 can lead to disqualification

12. Writing during the fight is not allowed, except to request a time-out. This tournament is about fighting not talking, you can do that after the fight has stopped

13. Guild Leaders have to make sure that their guild members read and respect the Event rules to avoid disqualification

14. The brackets up to the semi-finals will be in double-elimination mode. Category brackets will be updated in real-time after each battle under this thread in order for all participants to know their next adversary. Semi-final match winners will be determined as the best out of 3 matches. The final battle winner will be determined as the best out of 5 matches

15. Wars can be delayed up to a max of 10 minutes by the staff in case of an emergency

Ring of Lethal Power

A powerful silver ring decorated with magic gemstones. Provides boosting bonuses in lethal combinations.

To avoid any disputes about the rewards, they will be given to the 6 players present at the end of the final match. That being said, do your best to keep your head in the battle.

The Matches

A list of all participants will be compiled on the 28th of March when the registration period is over. The list of participants will be inputted into a random list organizer in order to have a random team number allocated to each guild.

Using these numbers, our team will proceed to transfer the teams to the list of participants in brackets where we'll be keeping track of the war order as well as the winners and losers of each match.

The above images are just an example. Results will be updated in this thread in real-time in order to have all participants and spectators up-to-date with the current score, future matches, and adversaries.

We reserve the right to cancel a tournament if we deem there are not enough guilds registered.

Rule Update:

7. You can not register with a secondary account. You may register one or more accounts belonging to the same person but they must not be used by the same person at the same time. To put it more simply, we do not allow a 1-man team. This event is a test of your capacity to work with your guild and trust your colleagues, as much as it is a test of your skills and mastery in the arts of PvP.

Prizes:

If the number of participating guilds is smaller than the number of prizes, the unclaimed prizes will be converted to Dragon Coins (DC) and distributed to the participants.

Registration for the 2025 Guild Tournament will be open until March 28th at 19:00 CET.

Are you ready to witness these titans face off in today's special event? Who will you cheer loudest for?
All guild leaders are required to contact [GM]Dave within 15 minutes of the event's beginning.

Additionally, we wanted to give an update regarding the Ring of Lethal Power.
Since the item's bonuses will be PvM centered, we consider it fair to allow the winners to choose to have it for good use on their PvM character. That being said, the winners of the Ring of Lethcal Power will be able to request the item to be awarded on any ONE of their accounts created on the same email address as the account that participated in the Guild Tournament up until March 28th, 2025.

What's next?
In order to claim their prizes, all participants listed above are required to contact us via [email protected] from the email address linked to the account that participated in the tournament and provide us with their character name and user name. As mentioned in the original post, the Ring of Lethal Power can be claimed on a different account as long as it was linked to the same email address as the victor's account on or before March 28th, 2025.

Now, time winds down toward next year's glorious battles...

UPDATE

After many of the participants contacted us regarding this topic, our team has decided to amend one of the rules regarding prizes as follows:

The winners of the Ring of Lethal Power will be allowed to claim the ring on any of the accounts sharing the IP address of the account that participated in the event. The Dragon Coins and Costume will be awarded to the character that participated in the war only.
